Kent Kølvig

Kent Kølvig has extensive work experience in various industries. Kent started their career at Post Danmark in 1984 as a Product Developer, focusing on cash management products and services. Kent then moved on to roles at GiroBank A/S and BG Bank, where they served as a Project Leader and worked on the development of cash management, cards, and payment products.

In 1998, Kent joined TopNordic (now Atea) as a Human Resources Manager for a brief period. Kent then joined Danske Bank in 2000 as a Business Development Manager and later became a Global Cash Manager/Chief Consultant. In these roles, they managed relationships with MasterCard and AIG Europe and served as a senior product manager for MasterCard products within the bank.

From 2008 to the present, Kent has been working at Nexi Group as a Global Key Account Manager. Kent is responsible for business development and sales to financial customers, focusing on card processing, fraud management, and other payment-related services.

Kent also has a passion for ice hockey and has held various positions in the sport. Kent served as a Vice President at Danmarks Ishockey Union, where they were responsible for the recruitment, development, coaching, and supervision of over 200 officials. Kent also served as an Ice Hockey Official for the International Ice Hockey Federation and was an Executive Board Member of the 2018 IIHF World Championships Organizing Committee.

In 2019, Kent became a Board Member at Ishøj Golf Club. Overall, Kent Kølvig has a diverse background with expertise in business development, sales, management, and sports administration.

Kent Kølvig completed their Finansuddannelse degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from Niels Brock between 1992 and 1995. Kent further pursued a US Cash Management degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the AFP Association of Financial Professionals (USA) during 2001-2002.
