Mike Long

Design Director at Nexla

Mike Long has over 13 years of professional experience in design roles. Mike started their career in 2007 as an Interaction Designer at Builder Homesite Inc. Mike then moved to McLane Advanced Technologies as a Manager, Design. In 2009, they joined StoredIQ as a Senior Product Designer and ThoughtWorks as a Lead Consultant, Design. In 2013, they became an Engagement Lead, Product & Design at Neo Innovation, Inc. Mike then moved to Pivotal Software, Inc. as a Manager, Product Design in 2014. In 2019, they took a sabbatical with Around the World. In 2020, they joined GitLab as a Manager, Product Design. In 2021, they became a Director, Design at Shortcut. Mike currently serves as a Design Director at Nexla.

Mike Long has a background in Photography and Journalism from Boise State University.
