Angela Burton

Angela Burton serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Harbor House of Louisville, overseeing strategic operations for a nonprofit that provides integrated care for various age groups and abilities. In 2014, Angela founded Feet to the Fire Writers' Workshops®, a program designed to engage aging adults in writing as a means of promoting self-purpose and combating loneliness. Angela also hosts and creates the Feet to the Fire Writers' Workshops® OUTLOUD podcast, which shares the personal stories and wisdom of older adults. Additionally, Angela has experience as a female founder at Wild Accelerator, supporting early-stage female entrepreneurs, and has held roles in marketing, membership development, and education at various organizations including Special Olympics Kentucky and Indiana University Southeast. Angela holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a B.A. in English from the University of Louisville.
