Mark Caldwell

Mark Caldwell has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Mark started their career in 2009 as a Summer Placement Student at Nokia, where they worked in the Testing team and participated in the Research and Development side of the business. In 2010, they had a summer work placement at Intelligenti, where they developed applications for the iPhone and iPad. In 2011, they joined Cisco Systems as a Software Developer, specializing in the development of video-conferencing infrastructure products. In 2016, they became the Algo Team Lead at Geneity Limited, leading a team of developers in the creation of mathematical models for sports betting. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Lead at Next DLP, a global technology company focused on delivering security solutions. Throughout their career, Mark has showcased their skills in various areas such as application development, Python programming, project management, version control, and Dockerized microservices. Mark has successfully contributed to different projects and has gained experience with technologies like Jira, Phabricator, Git, Jenkins, Oracle, and RabbitMQ. Additionally, they own their own software development company, CaldSoft, which specializes in creating bespoke utilities for Windows PC. Overall, Mark's work history reflects their expertise and adaptability in the field of technology and software development.

Mark Caldwell attended the University of Bristol from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a MEng degree with First Class Honours in Computer Science.
