David Smukowski

David Smukowski has been a Board Member at Next Energy Technologies since December 2015. Prior to that, they were the CEO and founder of Sensors in Motion, which was acquired by Garmin International in February 2006. David has also served on the board of several other companies, including Simple Machines, Polydrop, Next Energy, ATREG, and TransferFi. In addition to their work in the private sector, they have also been involved with AIDS orphan education, serving as an instigator from January 2005 to December 2009.

David Smukowski has a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. David has a certification from Washington and Wisconsin in Professional Engineer.
