Christie Clancy

Christie Clancy has worked in the fields of photography, social media, marketing, and project coordination since 2005. In 2005, they began working as a Project Coordinator/Manager for Blair Companies. From 2011 to 2012, they were an Administrative Assistant for The Center for Sustainability at Penn State, where they managed calendars, created graphics for CFS programs and initiatives, wrote and edited news stories and marketing materials, created social media posts for Facebook and Twitter, created a Pinterest account for the CFS, and proofread reports and materials for programs and photography. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Marketing Communications Specialist for Penn State's Sustainability Institute, where they were a writer/editor of news content for www.sustainability.psu. Christie has also been a Photographer for their own business, clancy214 photography, since 2010. From 2015 to 2022, they were a Social Media Manager and Social Media Strategist for Penn State University. In this role, they managed, monitored, crafted and curated social media posts for Penn State's official social media platforms, analyzed social media metrics, and created campaigns for Penn State's social media channels. Currently, Christie is a Social Media Manager for Next Glass, where they manage Next Glass brands' social media platforms, assists in social media content and strategies for other brands under Next Glass, and creates strategies, processes and communications plans around various social media platforms, campaigns and efforts.

Christie Clancy holds a B.A. in English from Penn State University. Additionally, they obtained a Hootsuite Certified Professional certification from Hootsuite Media Inc. in January 2016.
