Kathryn Porter Drapeau

Kathryn Porter Drapeau has a long history of working in the event operations industry. Kathryn began their career in 2001 at the Brewers Association as an Event Associate Director, Event Manager, AHA Events & Membership Coordinator, and Institute for Brewing Studies & American Homebrewers Association Administrator. In 2020, they founded Stars Beyond Clouds LLC and began working as an Event Project Manager at ConferenceDirect. Currently, Kathryn is the Director, Event Operations, Untappd Live! and Manager, Event Operations at Next Glass. In their role, they are part of a team that is on a mission to advance the global beverage industry through innovative technology, engaging content, and world class experiences.

Kathryn Porter Drapeau's education history includes a High School degree from Eastbrook High School, obtained between 1991 and 1995. Kathryn then attended Oklahoma State University from 1995 to 1997, studying Pre-Veterinary Studies. Finally, they attended Purdue University from 1997 to 2000, studying Anthropology. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained three certifications: Certified Cicerone & Certified Beer Server from the Cicerone Program, Recognized Beer Judge from the Beer Judge Certification Program, and TIPS Certified from the TIPS Alcohol Certification.
