John Stevenson

John Stevenson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role was as the Head of dataLabs at Next Insurance, where they spearheaded the creation of enrichment and inference platforms for commercial insurance. Prior to that, they served as the Lead ML Engineer at Next Insurance dataLabs. Before joining Next Insurance, John co-founded Juniper Labs and served as the CTO. At Juniper, they focused on utilizing data and machine learning to bring transparency and accuracy to commercial insurance pricing. John also worked at Cake Insure as the Director of Data Science, where they led the development and implementation of machine learning and analytics products. John was also involved in cloud-based web app development and data pipelining. Prior to Cake Insure, John worked at Pinnacol Assurance as a Data Engineer, where they created data pipelines and structures to drive insights through data analytics. John also held roles as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Underwriter, and New Business Representative at Pinnacol Assurance. John started their career as a Teacher at Denver Public Schools.

John Stevenson attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Spanish.
