Full Stack Developer at Next Insurance

Roee Rokah has worked in various roles throughout their career. Roee began their professional journey in 2014 as a Java Software Developer in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), where they worked on a critical system and implemented new features and algorithms. Roee also addressed performance issues in the system.

In 2017, Roee transitioned to a Full Stack Team Lead position within the IAF. In this role, they managed a team of six software developers and oversaw the entire software development cycle using an Agile strategy. Roee was responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementation, code review, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance. During this time, they also worked with NodeJS, Angular, MongoDB, Docker, and Microservices architecture.

Roee later served as a DevOps Engineer in the IAF, starting in 2019. In this role, they installed and managed Jenkins and Gitlab servers. Roee wrote Docker-based CI/CD pipelines for 12 development teams using various technologies. Roee also deployed applications to Openshift and created Kubernetes object YAML files.

In November 2019, Roee joined Ofek 324 Unit - IAF as a Full Stack Developer. Roee designed and implemented a new app with a high volume for the IAF. Roee'sresponsibilities included writing back-end code with NodeJS, front-end code with TypeScript and Angular, and working with RxJS and the state management tool called Akita. Roee also taught Quality Assurance (QA) how to use SeleniumIDEA and developers how to test with the Jest library.

Roee Rokah obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Mamram - Academy for Computer Professions of the IDF from 2013 to 2014, specializing in Software Development & Design.
