Managing Director at Next Legacy Partners

Ben Choi started their work experience as a Kauffman Fellow at In-Q-Tel, a strategic venture capital fund affiliated with intelligence agencies. Ben then moved on to become a Principal at Storm Ventures, where they sourced and led investments in companies such as Boorah and Marketo. After that, they worked as a VP of Strategy & Advisor at Greystripe, the first in-app mobile ad network, which was later acquired by ValueClick. Ben then became a Venture Partner at Maveron, focusing on early-stage consumer internet investments. At CoffeeTable, they co-founded the company and served as CEO until it was acquired by Wanderful. Ben also worked as a Senior Director at Adobe before joining Legacy Venture as a Managing Director. Additionally, Ben was a Board Director at the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco and a Member of the Board of Directors at Children's Health Council. Currently, they hold the role of Managing Director at Next Legacy Partners.

Ben Choi completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with Honors at Harvard University from 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended the University High School of San Francisco from 1990 to 1994, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study during that time.
