Bernat Vidal

Bernat Vidal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as a Lead Unity 3D Developer at Next Limit, where they are involved in the development of RoomBox, an interior design modeling and rendering program. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Lead and Game Producer at Doqua, where they managed the development of an educational serious game called Adrián Pendragon.

Bernat also has experience working with ARSGAMES, a cultural association, where they contributed to the development of social impact video games and conducted workshops on free and open software. Bernat was also involved in the development of an educational app-web against scholarship harassment.

In addition, Bernat has worked as a Unity tech-developer consultant at XYZ, where they worked on a physics training application project. Bernat also has IT experience, having worked as a Computer Technician at Cargill and Nexeo Solutions, providing software and hardware support.

Bernat Vidal pursued their education starting in 2009 when they attended Universitat de Barcelona and studied Geology and Geosciences, with a focus on Geology/Earth Science. Bernat completed their studies at this institution in 2015. In 2015, Bernat Vidal joined STAF Formación and obtained a 3rd grade Professional Certificate in Software development of elements for management systems, which is equivalent to a higher grade of Professional Formation (FP).

From 2016 to 2018, Bernat Vidal attended Institut Pedralbes and pursued a CFGS (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) degree in Multi-platform application development, specializing in Videogame and digital leisure (DAM-Vi). In the same year, they also participated in the Digital and 3.0 Business Model Incubation program offered by Tantàgora Serveis Culturals, LabDIG, and the Chamber of Commerce, focusing on developing new business models in the digital world.

In addition to their formal education, Bernat Vidal obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. In November 2019, they earned a CSharp Certificate and an SQL Certificate from SoloLearn. In October 2019, they completed courses in Unity: Materials and Lighting and Learning Node.js through LinkedIn, as well as Learning React.js. Bernat expanded their knowledge further in September 2020 by completing the Data Structures and Design Patterns for Game Developers program at the University of Colorado and a Specialized Program in C# Programming for Unity Game Development from Coursera Certified Courses. Most recently, in October 2021, Bernat Vidal obtained the Ten Tips for the C# Developer certification from LinkedIn.

It is worth noting that in 2016, Bernat Vidal also engaged in a Java programming Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) provided by the University of Helsinki.
