Johnny Basmaji

Johnny Basmaji is an Environmental and Sustainability Specialist at Hyundai Motor Group since September 2023, with a strong background in environmental health and safety, having previously worked as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist I at Veolia. In addition, Johnny serves as a Construction Manager at Next Step Ministries, overseeing building projects and leading youth volunteers. Prior experience includes roles such as Team Lead Manager at Samaritan's Purse, where Johnny managed the processing of shoebox gifts, and various positions in education and hospitality, including serving as an Elementary School Teacher at International Schools Group and Service Supervisor at Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel. Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has pursued studies in civil and environmental engineering and English literature.
