Anis Abbas is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in piping and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Section Manager - Piping at Next Structural Integrity Inc. since July 2019, Anis specializes in piping stress analysis for CANDU nuclear-generating stations. Previous roles include Piping Engineer at Northern Crescent Inc., where responsibilities involved stress calculations for complex piping systems, and Piping Engineer at SFRL Consultants Ltd., contributing to piping material deliverables for significant projects. Early career experience includes mechanical and operations engineering roles at KAPCO and an internship at Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd. Anis holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
