Bidyut Sengupta has a diverse work experience in various roles related to human resources and organizational development. Bidyut is currently serving as the Head of People and Culture at NEXT Ventures since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sheba Platform Ltd. where they held multiple roles including AVP, People and Organization, Head of People & Organization (Acting), and Senior Manager, People and Organisation from 2020 to 2022. In these roles, they were responsible for recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs.

Before their time at Sheba Platform Ltd., Bidyut worked at Enroute Center for Development as the Lead, Learning & Development from 2017 to 2019, where they managed training programs and developed yearly L&D plans. Bidyut also served as the Deputy Manager Training & Development at Excel Telecom (Pvt.) Limited in 2017, where they developed and implemented training programs for retail channel partners.

Bidyut's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Trainer at Samsung Training Academy from 2016 to 2017, and Manager, Learning and Development at Enroute Center for Development from 2015 to 2016. Bidyut also held positions such as Assistant Manager, Learning & Development and Executive, Learning and Development at Enroute Center for Development from 2013 to 2015.

Their career journey began at Best Aviation Ltd. where they worked as a TSO from 2011 to 2012.

Throughout their career, Bidyut has demonstrated expertise in talent management, learning and development, performance management, and organizational development.

Bidyut Sengupta completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at United International University in 2017. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in HRM at Stamford University Bangladesh. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Certificate Course on Monitoring and Evaluation" from Home of Skill in July 2019, "Magics in Microsoft Excel" from Sudoksho.com in May 2019, and "Training Need Analysis and ROI calculation" from Training Bangladesh in March 2013.
