Kevin Shaw

Kevin Shaw has extensive experience in legal affairs. Kevin is currently the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs at NextCure, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Precigen from January 2012 to May 2022. Kevin also worked as Counsel at Hogan Lovells from March 2000 to December 2011 and as an Associate at Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Kurz from January 1999 to April 2000.

Kevin Shaw completed their education at the following institutions:

- From 1996 to 1999, they attended The George Washington University Law School, where they obtained a J.D. degree in law.

- Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they studied at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a B.S.E. degree in Chemical Engineering.

In addition to their degrees, Kevin also acquired several certifications:

- In March 2000, they obtained the District of Columbia Bar certification from the District of Columbia Supreme Court.

- In December 1999, they received the California Bar certification from the State Bar of California.

- In January 1999, they became a Registered Patent Attorney through the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
