Shuqiong Niu

Shuqiong Niu has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Their most recent role is as a Scientist at NextCure, Inc. starting in March 2018. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where they held various positions including Research Specialist from July 2013 to March 2018, Research Assistant from October 2010 to July 2013, and Postdoctoral Fellow from January 2009 to October 2010. During this time, they focused on assessing the gene associated with breast cancer metastasis and developing therapeutic agents. They have also published two papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Niu also worked as a Scientific Researcher at Huzhou Central Hospital from July 2008 to January 2009, where they studied nanoparticle liposomes for the treatment of different cancers and published a paper in an international peer-reviewed journal.

Shuqiong Niu completed their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Clinical Medicine from Jilin University, which they received from 2002 to 2004. Shuqiong then pursued a Master's degree in Neuroscience from Nantong Medical College from 2005 to 2008. Prior to their university education, they attended Inner Mongolia Northern Occupation Technique College from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Pre Clinical Medicine in the field of Clinical Medicine.
