Amelia Skagias

Amelia Skagias is an accomplished compensation professional with extensive experience in developing and executing compensation strategies. Currently, as Compensation Lead at Nextdoor since February 2024, Amelia leads compensation initiatives. Prior to this role, Amelia served as Manager of Compensation at Cockroach Labs, where a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy was developed for talent attraction and retention. Earlier positions include Senior Compensation Manager at Cockroach Labs, Senior Compensation Analyst at Yext, and Compensation Analyst at Forrester, where various compensation cycles and planning for over 1700 employees were managed. Amelia began a career in financial analysis and administration at Massachusetts General Hospital, following a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Springfield College.
