Chanel Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and research. Chanel started their career as a Winter 2018 Colab Makeathon Participant at IDEO CoLab. Chanel then worked as a UX Design Intern at Infield Design Inc., where they conducted design research projects. Chanel later joined Stanford University as an Undergraduate Researcher and contributed to various research projects. Chanel also served as the President of Stanford Women in Design from 2018 to 2020. Chanel interned as a Product Design Intern at Workit Health and later joined the company as a full-time Product Designer. At Workit Health, they worked on designing an evidence-based addiction care intervention. Chanel further enhanced their skills as a Design Research Intern at The Better Lab. Chanel continued their professional journey as a Kleiner Perkins Design Fellow at Kleiner Perkins and as a Fellow at Contrary. Currently, Chanel works as a Product Designer at Nextdoor, where they are responsible for designing user-centered products.

Chanel Kim attended Mira Mesa High School from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a High School Diploma. From 2016 to 2020, they pursued a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Engineering, with a subplan in Product Design, at Stanford University. In 2018, they briefly studied at Doshisha University. The degree name or field of study for their time at Doshisha University was not provided.
