Fanta Camara has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Fanta most recently worked at Nextdoor as an ERG Co Lead - Halal and People Partner Lead. Prior to that, they held positions at Group Nine Media as the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Chair - IDEA Council, and Human Resources Business Partner. Fanta also worked at Snap Inc. as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, ERG Co-Lead - SnapNoir, and Human Resources Generalist. Earlier in their career, they were a Human Resources Associate and ERG Co-Chair Business Alignment at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Fanta also served as a Human Resources Coordinator at MAC Cosmetics and AHRC New York City as a Corporate Account Developer. Throughout their roles, Fanta has demonstrated skills in strategic workforce planning, change management, employee relations, training and development, performance evaluations, and HR operations.

Fanta Camara has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Behavior from Brooklyn College, specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
