Omer Palaz

Omer Palaz has a diverse work experience which spans several companies. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Meteksan Savunma. The following year, they interned as a Software Engineer at Smartface Inc. In 2016, they interned at Cisco as a Software Engineer Intern, where they contributed to the development of network analytics frameworks and distributed system frameworks. From 2017 to 2019, Omer worked as a Software Engineer - Backend at Rabbit, Inc., where they played a role in scaling the backend system of a social video startup. Currently, they are working at Nextdoor as a Software Engineer, where they have designed and implemented a local news ingestion platform and architected a high-performance video processing pipeline.

Omer Palaz obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Bilkent University, graduating in 2016.
