Reza Imani

Reza Imani, PhD has worked as a Data Scientist at Nextdoor since December 2022. Prior to that, from May 2019 to December 2022, they worked as an Engineer and Data Scientist at ImageCat. Before joining ImageCat, from October 2014 to May 2019, they held the position of Advanced Analytics/Forensic Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti.

Reza Imani, PhD, has a solid educational background in engineering. Reza completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Engineering from the University at Buffalo between 2010 and 2014. Prior to their doctoral studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering at Sharif University of Technology from 2008 to 2010. Reza also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering, which they obtained from Sharif University of Technology from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Reza has obtained several certifications. Reza completed the Deep Learning Nanodegree Program from Udacity in April 2019. Reza also earned Coursera Verified Certificates for completing the courses "Principles of Computing" in August 2014 and "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" in June 2014. Furthermore, they completed the Coursera courses "Game Theory II: Advanced Applications" in February 2014 and "Game Theory" in January 2014.
