Yuri Ramocan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as an Assistant Program Coordinator at Matrix Human Services, where they coordinated summer programs for Detroit-area youth. They then transitioned to the field of filmmaking, working as a Videographer and Broadcasting Operations team member for MHacks and as a Screenwriter and Audio Technician for the short film "Good Company."

Yuri further explored their passion for media at the University of Michigan - Digital Media Commons, where they served as a Digital Media Consultant. In this role, they assisted clients with video editing, audio recording/editing, photography, graphic design, computer programming, web coding/design, and 3D design/modeling.

Yuri also gained valuable experience in software engineering, starting as a Summer Development Intern at Detroit Labs and later becoming a Developer, Junior Developer, and Developer II. They honed their skills in agile development, collaborated with experienced and inexperienced developers, and contributed to the delivery of quality products for clients.

In 2021, Yuri joined Lyft as a Software Engineer, contributing to the company's software development processes. They recently moved on to Nextdoor, continuing their career as a Software Engineer.

Yuri Ramocan began their education at Brother Rice High School, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. After completing their high school education, Yuri went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Michigan, from 2013 to 2017. Yuri'sfield of study at the university was Information and Screen Arts & Cultures, resulting in a B.S., B.A. degree.
