Sean Barrett

Sean Barrett is a Senior Battery Engineer at NVTX Energy since March 2024, with prior experience as a Process Engineer at NexTech Batteries, Inc. from May 2020 to March 2024 and an Engineer at Electric Car Company from July 2018 to February 2020, where Sean developed and tested components for solid-state and hybrid batteries. Earlier, as a Cell Case Design Engineer at ZAF Energy Systems Inc. from December 2014 to March 2018, Sean successfully scaled a prototype NiZn cell to pilot production and designed an injection-molded cell case assembly. Sean also worked as a Lab Technician at ZAF Energy Systems and as a Construction Worker at Barrett Construction from May 2008 to June 2015, where Sean completed home restorations and projects. Sean's early experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at NuSil Technology LLC, where Sean contributed to the design of critical components for a nuclear power plant. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, completed in 2014.
