Vani Dantam

Vani Dantam has a long and successful career in the energy industry. Vani began their career in 1989 as an Engineering Manager/Chief Electrical Engineer at General Motors. Vani then moved to General Motors Components Holdings, LLC in 1991 as a Director of Operations/International Programs. In 1994, they joined Remy International as Global Director of Hybrid, EV & Heavy Duty Sales and Director of International Sales, Business Development & Engineering. In 2010, Vani moved to EnerDel as Vice President of Sales & Business Development. In 2012, they joined Axion Power International Inc as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Sales & Marketing. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Landis+Gyr as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships & Planning and Vice President of Sales & Business Development. In 2021, Vani worked at Utilityx as Chief Advisor of Strategic Planning & Business Development and at Canadian Solar and Power as Chief Consultant of Peak Power Plant Design & Development. Vani currently works at NexTech Batteries, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations.

Vani Dantam has an extensive education history. Vani attended Government Junior College, Maddipadu, Prakasam (DT), AP 523211, India, followed by Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, where they obtained a B.Tech (Hons) in Metallurgical Engineering. Vani then attended Vanderbilt University, where they obtained an MS in Mechanical Engineering. After that, they attended University of Cambridge, Trinity College, where they studied Materials Engineering. Dantam then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they obtained an MBA in Corporate Finance & International Business. Vani also attended The Wharton School and Purdue University Daniels School of Business. Additionally, Dantam has obtained certifications from Kettering University (APQP, Quality Engineer, GM Quality Institute) and Indiana University - Kelley School of Business (Mercosur & Eurozone Certifications).
