Rachel Swoap

Rachel Swoap has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2015. In 2021, they began working as the Offensive Cybersecurity Team Lead at NexTech Solutions LLC. Prior to that, they were a Database Engineer at Target from 2019-2021, a Technical Specialist- Student Leader and 3D Programmer & Artist at Grinnell College from 2015-2019, a Software Engineering Intern at Target from 2018-2019, and an Information Analyst & Web Designer at Technology Specialist Services, TMC from 2017-2018. In their role as a 3D Programmer & Artist, Rachel collaborated with a small team of students and faculty to construct a VR experience set in 1850s Louisiana and employed self-driven site-based research to inform critical design choices, and refine 3D modelling and texturing.

Rachel Swoap attended Grinnell College from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Studio Art.
