Don Taylor

National Safety Council Distinguished Service To Safety Award Winner at Nexteer Automotive

Don Taylor has extensive experience in health and safety management, primarily with Nexteer Automotive since May 1999, where Taylor served as a retired Global Health & Safety, Medical Manager. Taylor has received numerous accolades including the National Safety Council Distinguished Service to Safety Award, the Michigan Safety Conference Darryl C. Hill Safety Professional of the Year, and the 2019 Great Lakes Safety Training Center "Lifetime Achievement Award." Prior to Nexteer, Taylor held positions as Site Safety Supervisor at Delphi Automotive and General Motors, as well as Health & Safety Representative at Saginaw Steering Division, GM, overseeing health and safety for 5,000 employees. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Kennedy Western University and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delta College.
