Andrew Sutton

Andrew Sutton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and media relations. Currently serving as the Lead Communications Strategist at NextEra Energy, Inc. since September 2020, Andrew has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Communications Strategist and Media Relations Spokesperson. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Consensus Communications as an Account Executive and held positions such as Political Director for the Drug Free Florida Committee and Field Director for David Gerson for Congress 2016. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Communications for the National Right to Work Committee and as a Media Consultant for VS Media Group, Inc. Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Philosophy from Florida State University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Publishing & Editing and a TEFL Certificate from the same institution.
