Brian Sykes

Brian Sykes is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Director of NextEra Investments at NextEra Energy, Inc. since April 2023, focusing on venture investments in Software, AI/ML, Data, Energy, and Cyber, while managing portfolio companies. Previously, Sykes held the position of Principal at The Raine Group and has been involved with various startups and advisory roles, including an advisory position at Visible Hands. Sykes has also been an investor and board observer for several companies, including Athletic Club Momento, Yieldstreet, and Material Bank®. Sykes earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University.
