Dave Coleman

Dave Coleman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in renewable energy transmission line siting and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Renewable Energy Transmission Line Siting at NextEra Energy, Inc. since August 2014, Dave has played a pivotal role in supporting over $5 billion in natural gas interstate pipeline projects and has developed innovative geospatial tools to enhance operational efficiency. Previous roles at Florida Power & Light and AECOM reflect a strong background in GIS project management and consulting, while earlier teaching positions at Indian River State College and the University of Memphis highlight expertise in geography and environmental science. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Geography with a focus on GIS and Landscape Ecology from the University of Memphis.
