Alexander Feldman

Alexander Feldman is currently a Habilitation Candidate at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg, where research focuses on algorithms for combinatorial optimization. Concurrently, Alexander serves as a Senior Electrical Engineer at NextFlex. Previous roles include a Member of Research Staff at PARC, where research involved model-based diagnosis and automated planning, and a Research Fellow at University College Cork, specializing in model-based diagnosis of fluid thermal systems. A postdoctoral position at HEIG-VD involved the design and implementation of an FPGA-based system for Ultra-Wide Band robotic localization. Alexander's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, coupled with extensive research experience in model-based diagnosis and algorithm design.
