Cherie Holmes-Henry possesses over three decades of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as VP of Government & Industry Affairs at NextGen Healthcare since July 2009, focusing on strategic partnerships to enhance EHR adoption in alignment with Federal and State Health Reform strategies. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Accounts at Healthvision, overseeing major Health Information Exchange accounts (2003-2009), and VP of Healthcare at Netigy, where expertise in healthcare and HIPAA regulation was offered (2001-2002). Additionally, Holmes-Henry held the position of VP of Sales & Marketing at Sweetwater Health Enterprises, responsible for marketing and business strategy (1993-2000), and served as RVP of Sales at Intracorp, managing sales for cost containment services (1981-1991). Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s degree in English/Political Science from Midwestern State University.
