Oliver Shetler

Oliver Shetler is a Senior Data Scientist at NextGen Healthcare since December 2024, focusing on machine learning and AI model development. Previously served as a Senior Consulting AI Scientist at Synaptrix Labs, leading efforts to create a Transformer EMG to speech decoder for neurodegenerative disorders. As a Senior Research Data Scientist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Oliver architected NeuroSciKit for brain implant data analysis. Additional experience includes leading the development of WhisperBrain at uCat, contributing to EEG pipelines at Thimus, and research at The Rockefeller University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from Hunter College.
