Nathan Collins, P.E.

Nathan Collins, P.E. has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Nathan is currently the Senior Manager of Engineering at NextGrid Inc, where they oversee large-scale solar development projects on a national level. Their responsibilities include managing projects from conceptual design to final construction and activation.

Prior to their current role, Nathan worked as the Principal at CLC Design starting in 2019. Before that, they served as the Assistant Town Engineer at the Town of Barnstable from 2019 to 2022, where they contributed to various engineering projects.

From 2012 to 2019, Nathan worked at R.A.D. Sports as a Project Manager and Senior Estimator. Their role involved managing and designing high-end athletic and recreation construction projects in New England and the mid-Atlantic. Nathan was responsible for budgeting and cost estimation using various software tools.

Nathan's experience also includes working as a Project Manager at Gale Associates, Inc. from 2005 to 2012 and as a Lead Project Designer at McKenzie Engineering Group, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Project Engineer at Gale Associates, Inc. from 2001 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Nathan has gained expertise in project management, engineering design, and budgeting.

Nathan Collins, P.E. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Rockland High School, earning a Diploma in 1997.
