Humberto Parejas

Humberto Parejas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Humberto is currently working as a Cloud Technical Program Manager at Nexthink since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the WEU C&SI Project Director & Business Architect at Huawei Technologies from May 2015 to December 2020, where they were responsible for digital transformation, business and solution architecture, data center consolidation and transformation, and the setup of B2B public cloud platforms in multiple countries.

Before joining Huawei, Humberto worked as an Engineering Services Manager at Telefónica from October 2013 to March 2015. Humberto also served as a Customer Program Manager at Hewlett-Packard from 2012 to 2013 and as an IT Director / Program Manager at Tek Consulting Latin America (TekCLA) from January 2011 to March 2012.

Prior to these roles, Humberto held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Renna Mobile from January 2009 to December 2010, where they played a pivotal role in launching the first MVNO in the Middle East and overseeing contract negotiations. Humberto also worked as an IT Manager at Neoris from January 2007 to April 2009, as an IT Consultant & Project Manager at T-Systems from April 2004 to November 2006, and as a Project Manager & Senior Consultant at Altran from May 2002 to December 2003.

Humberto began their career at Telefónica as a Project Leader / Consultant, where they worked from November 1998 to December 2001. With a strong background in IT and project management, Humberto's work experience reflects their expertise in digital transformation, cloud computing, data center consolidation, and business architecture.

Humberto Parejas has completed several educational programs and certifications throughout their career. Humberto holds a Master's degree in Leadership from EADA Business School. Humberto also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in IT Platforms and Web Applications from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and an Engineer's degree in Computing and Systems from Universidad de San Martín de Porres.

Additionally, Humberto has taken various online courses and obtained certifications in areas such as AWS, Google Cloud, Agile methodology, deep learning, and project management. These certifications include FinOps Certified Practitioner from the FinOps Foundation, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Udemy, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services.

Furthermore, they have completed multiple specialization programs on Coursera, including Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine, Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP, and Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP.
