Matthew Rausch

Matthew Rausch currently serves as Associate Director at NextPoint Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2021 and has held various positions at Surface Oncology Inc. from August 2016, including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Scientist in Pharmacology at Infinity Pharmaceuticals from January 2015 to July 2016, focusing on IND-enabling studies for novel discovery programs in immuno-oncology. Matthew's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at The University of Arizona, where research centered on MHC class II-restricted antigen processing in CD4+ T cells, and a Graduate Research Assistant role investigating the effects of TGF-β on dendritic cell function in tumor-specific T cell activation. Matthew earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arizona and a BS in Biology from Lafayette College.
