Jack Abramowitz

Jack is a Senior Associate at NextView, based in its New York office. He draws on his Fintech and Growth Marketing expertise to help founders strategize on product development and go-to-market.

Prior to joining NextView, Jack was a founding investor at Common Ocean, an early-stage fintech VC fund. He spent most of his time working with pre-seed and seed fintech founders. Jack gained his operating chops in the lending space, specifically at Better, where he was an early growth hire. Jack’s team was initially responsible for improving CAC by 75%, turning the business profitable, and eventually, expanding the business 10x over two years… all largely due to Jack’s business development efforts.

Jack started his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs on the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities trading desk. He analyzed the price action of macro asset classes and advised some of the most well-regarded buy-side investors in the world. Jack holds a Level III CMT certification for his efforts in the technical analysis industry.

In addition to his role at NextView, Jack is an active strategic angel investor, having partnered with over a dozen start-ups as a value-added individual. Jack attended Northeastern University and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He lives in SoHo, and you can frequently find him on his bicycle on the West Side Highway.
