Maureen Askew

Maureen Askew is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and training management across various educational institutions and organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Learning at Nexus since March 2024, Maureen previously held the position of Head of Quality at NA College from February 2021 to March 2024 and worked as a Quality Reviewer at Gateshead College for a brief period in early 2021. Maureen has also served as Quality and Compliance Manager at Pro-active Safety Ltd and Senior Controller for the Unipres Training Academy at UNIPRES (UK) LIMITED, where strategic development and operational management of training and quality assurance were primary responsibilities. Earlier roles included Head of Quality and Compliance at NAC Group and Business Advisor at Business and Enterprise North East. Maureen's career began at Gateshead College, where the management and development of training programs were a focus.
