Ekta Prasad

Ekta Prasad has a strong background in retail design and architecture. Ekta currently holds the position of AGM - Retail Excellence Design & Fitouts at Nexus Malls, a role they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant General Manager - Design & Planning for Forum Malls (Prestige Group) from April 2017 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for successful launches of Forum Centre City in Mysore and Forum Shantiniketan in Bangalore.

Before joining Nexus Malls, Ekta worked as a Senior Interior Designer at Education Design Architects (EDA) from May 2016 to March 2017. Here, they designed and built EDA's flagship office in Bangalore and collaborated closely with clients to create innovative solutions for education-related projects.

From 2014 to 2016, Ekta worked as a Design Manager at Virtuous Retail, where they oversaw the design coordination of a mixed-use development comprising retail, hospitality, and corporate segments. Ekta also managed coordination between various consultants and internal teams.

Prior to that, they were a Project Architect at Lotus Shopping Centers Pvt Ltd from November 2011 to April 2014. In this role, they focused on design management of shopping centers in South India.

Ekta's career also includes experience at Westcourt Real Estate as a Senior Project Head from April 2010 to August 2011, where they coordinated design development and execution for internal projects. Ekta also worked as a Design Consultant in a freelance capacity from April 2009 to April 2010, managing design projects for shopping centers and retail outlets.

Earlier in their career, Ekta worked at Emaar MGF Land Pvt. Limited as a Retail Architect, where they managed retail design and coordination for upcoming shopping centers across India. Ekta also gained experience at Select CITYWALK as a Design Associate, focusing on design coordination and landscape management.

Ekta's early career includes roles as an Architect at Tata Motors and Aakriti Architects.

Ekta Prasad obtained their Senior Secondary Education with a focus on Economics Science from Sacred Heart Convent in Jamshedpur. Ekta pursued a degree in Architecture from B. M. S. College of Engineering, completing their Bachelor of Architecture from 2001 to 2006.
