Candace A. Daigle, CHC, CHA, CHCO, OHCC, CLM Fellow has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Candace A. began their career in 2000 as a Business Account Manager at CompUSA, where they were responsible for account management of small to medium business accounts, government and educational organizations, drove controlled growth of sales and gross margin, and designed and developed marketing materials and strategies.

In 2008, they joined TSS Management Company, Inc. as an Operational Efficiency Consultant, where they identified and sought alignment of outcomes on change goals/objectives, collaborated to gain executive sponsorship, orchestrated simulations, functional tests and/or audits for building gap assessments or recommended improvement options, and performed proactive "resistance" management. Candace A. also served as the Manager of Quality Assurance & Internal Audit, where they were retained as one of 117 corporate employees after a series of 4 layoffs affecting over 2,300 employees within 1 year.

In 2013, Candace moved to Carenet Healthcare Services as a Compliance Analyst, where they were responsible for oversight of all policies & procedures, processes and work flows for services accredited by URAC and NCQA to ensure compliance with standards.

In 2014, they joined Nexus as the Director of Compliance / HIPAA Privacy Officer, where they oversaw accreditation & certification management, quality management, and project management for Nexus' responses to Request for Proposal (RFP). Candace A. also developed and implemented company-wide compliance training for HIPAA, accreditation & certification requirements.

Most recently, Candace joined NAIRO National Association of Independent Review Organizations in 2022 as the Chair of the Legislative & Regulatory Committee. In this role, they are responsible for maintaining the organization's compliance program, and monthly coordination meetings with other member organizations.

Candace A. Daigle is a CHC, CHA, CHCO, OHCC, CLM Fellow with an education history including a Certified in Healthcare Compliance from the Compliance Certification Board, a Six Sigma Green Belt from Aveta Business Institute, and Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Houston Community College. Candace A. also holds additional certifications from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) (obtained in March 2016), American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc (obtained in June 2015), American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc (obtained in November 2014), and American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc (obtained in June 2013).
