Tim Desett

Tim joined NFP as executive vice president, of P&C, in April 2023. As the leader of NFP’s Property and Casualty (P&C) business, Tim drives strategy with a focus on enhancing organic growth, capturing new business, and increasing revenue. He brings extensive strategic leadership capabilities to NFP’s growing P&C business, collaborating with executives, client advisors, subject matter experts, and resource leaders to ensure they are attracting the best talent and positioning their teams for continued success. Prior to joining NFP, Tim was with AIG, where he served as head of Distribution and Field Operations, in North America. In this role, he was responsible for the business development and distribution strategies of all commercial products and industry segments across the US, Canada, and Bermuda. He was also previously with Lockton, where he served as EVP of risk practices and oversaw their national practice teams. Tim earned a BA from Blackburn College and an MBA from DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business and holds a CPA license.
