Jim Pauley

President at NFPA

Jim Pauley is the current president of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Jim has also served on the Advisory Board for the Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIKY) at the University of Kentucky from April 2010 to May 2014. From January 2009 to May 2014, they were the Chair of the High Performance Buildings Council (HPBC) and the Building Systems Division (BSD) at NEMA. Pauley has also been a part of the NFPA Research Foundation and the IEEE/NFPA Arc Flash Research Project steering committee from January 2008 to March 2014. In addition, they have served on the Board of Governors for the IEEE Standards Association from January 2008 to December 2010 and as Chairman of the Board for the American National Standards Institute from January 2012 to May 2014. Pauley was also the Co-Chair ANSI Electric Vehicle Standards Panel from March 2011 to December 2013.

Jim Pauley has a BSEE from the University of Kentucky in Electrical Engineering and is certified from the State of Kentucky as a Professional Engineer (retired).
