Paul Defronzo

Paul Defronzo is the current Chief Financial Officer at NFPA. Prior to their current position, Paul served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Norfolk & Dedham Group from May of 2018 to May of 2019. Paul was responsible for providing overall leadership on all matters related to the short and long-term financial health and viability of N&D. This included being a key member in the development of company-wide strategic planning and evaluation of mergers and acquisitions. Paul also communicated with the Board of Directors and various committees including the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, Retirement Planning Committee, and Building Committee. In addition to these responsibilities, they oversaw the financial organization which entailed financial systems and reporting, treasury cash management and investments, loss reserve evaluation, tax planning, annual budget, expense management, enterprise risk management, short and long-term financial planning and analysis, and internal audit and compliance oversight.

Before their time at The Norfolk & Dedham Group, Paul served as a Board Member at Archway Health from June of 2015 to April of 2018.

Paul Defronzo has a MBA from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and a BS in Accounting from Bentley University. Paul is also certified by Massachusetts as a CPA.

Their manager is Jim Pauley, President. Nancy Hurley - Director, Real Estate & Building Services, Brian Walsh - Director, Finance & Treasury Operations report to Paul Defronzo. They are on a team with Julie Chirillo - Head of Human Resources, Christian Dubay - VP, Engineering & Research, and Kristen Freiter - Paralegal.
