Greg Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Greg is currently the Co-Founder and Lead Designer, as well as the Director of Research and Development, at NFT Oasis since March 2021. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, they served as the Head of XR Development at Wow! Stuff where they led the development of the Clear AR and VR App and managed teams from over 5 different countries. Greg also designed physical products and proprietary hardware for XR experiences, collaborating with brands like Disney, Cartoon Network, Harry Potter, and Rick and Morty.
Before joining Wow! Stuff, Greg was the Former Co-Founder and Lead Developer of BRCVR at Big Rock Creative from April 2020 to September 2020. Greg also worked as the Lead Developer at Big Sky VR from June 2013 to May 2019, where they developed VR experiences for multiple platforms such as IOS, Android, Oculus Rift, Gear VR, and Google Cardboard.
Prior to their XR development roles, Greg was the Viral Media Marketing Director at CBS Interactive from September 2007 to September 2014, where they produced behind-the-scenes content and viral YouTube marketing videos for the daytime drama "The Young and the Restless." Greg also served as a developer for social media interactive campaigns and managed social media platforms for the show.
Greg started their career as the Director of Video and Marketing Production at Hatchfest Productions from October 2005 to October 2007. Prior to that, they were the Technical Director, Videographer, and Live Broadcast Manager at KTVQ, where they managed the live newscast and served as the main videographer and editor for three reporters from September 2005 to May 2007.
Greg Edwards' education history begins in 1999 when they attended the University of Montana, studying Theater and New Media. Greg then pursued an Associate's Degree in Creative Writing at the Second City Writing program from 2001 to 2003.
Following that, from 2003 to 2008, Greg obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Montana State University-Bozeman. Subsequently, they attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation, where they focused on Digital Arts between 2009 and 2022.
Greg's studies in Digital Arts continued at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation from 2010 to 2012, where they specialized in Digital Sets. In 2022, they enrolled at Become CG Pro to further enhance their skills in Virtual Production. During this program, they pursued courses such as Unreal For In Camera Visual Effects, Virtual Production for Producers, and Unreal For Filmmakers.
