Piers Watson has over 25 years of experience in various strategic and customer-focused roles. Piers started their career in business development and solution design at Corus in 1995. Piers then held multiple marketing positions at Capgemini from 1996 to 2003, including European Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Manager.
From 2004 to 2007, Piers worked as a Managing Consultant at Capgemini Consulting, leading projects focused on customer transformation and change management. Piers helped clients achieve significant cost savings and transition their business models towards a customer-centric approach.
In 2007, Piers joined Legal & General and held several senior strategy roles within their Insurance and Savings divisions. Piers played a key role in driving customer leadership and digital transformation within the organization. Piers developed strategic frameworks to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and profit optimization.
Starting in 2015, Piers was appointed as Head of UK&I Customer Propositions at AXA UK. Piers was responsible for addressing the consumer trust crisis and building a unified customer experience framework. Piers implemented customer-led, digital, and data-enabled solutions to transform customer experience and drive business improvement.
In 2020, Piers established their own company, PIERS WATSON ASSOCIATES LTD, focusing on business strategy and customer experience transformation. Later that year, they joined NFU Mutual as the Head of Customer Experience.

Piers Watson obtained a Diploma in Marketing from the Cambridge Business School in 1996.
