Arnaud Chalin

Arnaud CHALIN, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of biotechnology, with a particular focus on research and development. Arnaud is currently working at NG BIOTECH as the R&D Director, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the R&D deputy director from October 2020 to March 2023.

Arnaud also worked as the R&D Project Manager at NG BIOTECH from December 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the development of rapid diagnostic tests using the LFIA technology for the global market. This involved project management, team management, and navigating the EU regulatory environment.

Before joining NG BIOTECH, Arnaud worked as an R&D Engineer at the same company from January 2015 to November 2018. Arnaud started their career as a Trainee Engineer in R&D at NG Biotech in February 2014, where they contributed to the conception and development of a rapid diagnostic test for the detection of pregnancy.

Furthermore, Arnaud gained valuable experience during their time at Bertin Technologies, where they served as a Stage assistant ingénieur from September 2012 to February 2013. Their responsibilities included manufacturing medium-scale kits and participating in the development of new kits for toxin detection.

Arnaud began their career as a Technicien de laboratoire at Centre Hospitalier Bretagne Atlantique in April 2011, where they were involved in various laboratory activities, particularly in the bacteriology sector.

Arnaud CHALIN PhD completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Hepatology & Immunology at Université Bretagne Loire from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they received an Engineer's degree in Biotechnologie from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 2012 to 2014. Arnaud also holds a DUT en Génie Biologique degree from IUT Laval, specializing in Biology, from 2009 to 2011.
