Rosa Mª Palau

Rosa Mª Palau is a highly accomplished researcher in the field of Geotechnical Engineering and Geo-Sciences, currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since October 2021. Rosa completed a PhD at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, focusing on real-time landslide and debris flow forecasting approaches at a regional scale. Prior to the doctoral studies, Rosa garnered diverse experience, including working as a linguistic consultant for water treatment projects at Jiangsu Environmental Engineering Co, Ltd., and serving as a private tutor in China. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, a Master's degree in Geological and Mining Engineering, and a second Master of Science in Geological Engineering, all obtained from prestigious institutions, including Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Tongji University.
