Diego Andrade

VP, Creative Strategy at NGL Media

As the VP of Creative Strategy at mitú, Diego oversees the creative development and execution of content for all mitú verticals. He works closely with his fellow department leaders to continuously refine all functional and strategic processes related to content creation.

With over a decade of experience as an advertising and creative professional, he got his start on the agency side developing national Spanish-language campaigns for the traditional US Hispanic Market. Five years ago, he joined the mitú team to be able to create content that more closely reflects his own experiences as a Latino - born in Mexico City, raised in the US on mainstream pop culture, fully acculturated but still deeply connected to his heritage.

Understanding that kind of nuance and intersectionality is the key to creating modern diverse Latino audiences. And embodying that in the content starts with cultivating and celebrating different POVs and identities in their own organization. That’s why he is thrilled to work every day with the team of passionate and diverse creators at mitú. They truly understand this audience because they are this audience.
