Seamus Tuohy

Chief Information Security Officer

Seamus Tuohy currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at NGO-ISAC since May 2025. Prior to this role, Seamus was a Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of State from January 2021 to September 2025 and held the position of Director of Information Security at Human Rights Watch from November 2017 to December 2020. Seamus also worked as a Principal Consultant at Prudent Innovation and served as a Senior Technologist and Risk Advisor, along with a Technical Advisor, at Internews Network from May 2014 to August 2016. Earlier in the career, Seamus gained experience as an Associate Technologist and Technical Program Associate at New America, and as a Case Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at JAMS. Seamus began the professional journey as a Research Assistant at The Greater Good Science Center. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from San Francisco State University.
