Atte Honkasalo

Atte Honkasalo is the VP, Data & Analytics at NGP Capital. Atte has over 6 years of experience in data and analytics, with a focus on big data and marketing analytics.

Atte started their career as a data analyst at Qvantel, a Finnish telecom company. Atte quickly rose through the ranks and became a product manager for the company's big data and analytics products. Atte then moved on to Dentsu Aegis Network, where they founded the Data Science & Advanced Analytics team and built a product and services portfolio of econometric modelling & marketing AI.

In April 2019, Atte joined NGP Capital as the Head of Data & Analytics. In this role, they lead the data team and is responsible for all data and analytics initiatives across the firm.

Atte Honkasalo has a Master of Science in Economics from Tampereen yliopisto and a degree in World Politics, Communication studies, Economics from Helsingin yliopisto. Atte also went to Ressun lukio.

They are on a team with and Neeta Shrotriya - Senior Accounting Manager. Their manager is Monica Johnson, Operating Partner & CFO.
