Clare Parker has extensive work experience in procurement and contracts management. Clare began their career as a Procurement Specialist at Home Retail Group PLC in 2007, where they handled various procurement category areas such as facilities management, profit protection, and marketing. Their responsibilities involved developing procurement strategies, conducting market research, evaluating suppliers, and managing contracts. Clare later became a Contracts Manager at the same company before leaving in 2014.

In 2014, Clare joined Towergate Insurance as a Senior Group Procurement Manager for a year, where they played a key role in managing procurement activities for the organization.

Since 2015, Clare has been working at NHBC, starting as a Procurement Consultant (Interim) before being promoted to Procurement Manager and ultimately serving as the Head of Procurement. Their responsibilities at NHBC include overseeing procurement operations and ensuring the company's procurement goals are met.

Clare Parker obtained their MCIPS degree from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a BTEC National Diploma in Travel & Tourism at Milton Keynes College from 1999 to 2001. Their earliest education was at Stantonbury Campus from 1995 to 1999.
